Environmental Educator & Interpretive Specialist

Dedicated to inspiring environmental change

I specialize in environmental education, creating engaging programs that foster ecological awareness and stewardship. My approach combines hands-on learning with innovative exhibit design to connect communities with nature and sustainability.

I have over 20 years of experience in the field, working for public parks, nature centers, community and youth development organizations, farms and botanical gardens.

Environmental
Education

Whether I’m working with educators, students, or families, my goal has always been to spark that moment of discovery— through nature, STEM, or hands-on experiences in the classroom and beyond – creating lifelong learners. I believe we create impactful learning experiences that resonate with diverse communities when we provide opportunities for personal connection with the natural world – a sense of place.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed dozens of NGSS-aligned, inquiry-based STEM programs that have earned regional recognition. From resource management to green design, ethnobotany to watersheds, and animal adaptations to climate resilient communities, my lesson planning repertoire spans both earth and living sciences, chemistry, physics, meteorology, astronomy, and beyond, always integrating the human experience through storytelling, the arts, history, and cultural anthropology.
